Shown here is the first prototype Waynesville Bridge & Iron Works truss bridge. The span is 48", horizontal clearance 7.0", vertical clearance 10.0". Material: 6061 T6 Aluminum, stainless steel fasteners. There are no nuts used in this bridge because all 66 holes are tapped. At 1:20.32 scale, the bridge is 81'-3" long; vertical clearance is 16'-11'; horizontal clearance is 11'-10", which is 5'-11" both sides of center.
